I grew up in Charleston, SC and my wife and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Our community is such a wonderful place to raise a family, and its warm climate allows us to stay active outdoors year-round. I have also been lucky to see firsthand how much the area has grown and become more diverse over the years. I know and love life here, and it’s important for me to give back to the community that I care so much about, and I’m thankful that Allstate supports and encourages my efforts. I’m an active volunteer in teaching children to read through the Rotary Reader Program, and because Charleston is surrounded by water, I volunteer through the Josh the Otter program, which educates kids on the importance of water safety. I have also sponsored events with My Sisters House, an emergency shelter and job support organization, which helps under-served women and children impacted by domestic violence. I’m in the insurance industry because I love working with and helping people, and I believe treating people courteously and honestly is the only way to do business.
