Since 1996, Northern Virginia has been my home. My husband and I have lived in our house in Centreville since 1989 and raised our four children there. Our ties to the Centreville/Chantilly/Fairfax community are deep, including spending over 28 years in the Chantilly Youth Association and Southwestern Youth Association sports programs as players, coaches and fans. If it’s hockey season, you can most likely find me at a Washington Capitals game. But any sporting event will do — especially Washing and Nationals. My husband and I also enjoy visiting historical sites. I enjoy reading, especially biographies, to learn what influenced people to shape history. I also love to travel. A highlight was walking on the Great Wall of China with my family in 2014. The word "amazing" doesn’t do justice to describe its jaw-dropping beauty. I have been associated with Allstate since 1988, but when I began working I had no idea how fulfilling I would find the job. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to tell a customer who is facing a claim that they have the proper coverage and need not worry. And while nothing can bring back a loved one, it’s reassuring to be able to comfort a widow or widower with young children by knowing that their spouse’s life insurance policy helps them stay in their home. My staff and I love having the opportunity to get to know customers and assist them with coverage decisions to protect their family.
