Shakilya D. Khalif, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. She earned her FNP Post Graduate Certificate from Kaplan University in 2016. Prior to that, she earned her Master's in Nursing from University of Phoenix in 2013, a Bachelor's in Nursing from Lander University in 2009, and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Midlands Technical College in 2006. Her diverse experience includes the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, medical surgical care, cardiology/telemetry, and geriatrics.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the American Nurses Association. She holds certifications in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Shakilya specializes in primary care and internal medicine, managing many acute and chronic health conditions including Diabetes, Hypertension, and Hyperlipidemia. She also focuses on wellness and prevention. She truly enjoys providing patient care. Her goal is to work collaboratively with patients in order to make a positive change in their lives.
